Over the years I have traveled a lot, but before to do it, I have personally selected the places where to sleep, possibly preferring the b & b  to hotel, more comfortable, more peaceful.

Today there are so many internet portals to choose your property, but, do you know what I realized?
Information released by some of them are often not conform to reality, but above all, hardly  someone will explain to you well and permitt to understand the places, where the structure is, if it is in a quiet zone, near the center, restaurants , Metro, museums.

when I’m in a city that I do not know,  these things are important: security, distance from the attractions of the city, the quietness.

So, since my job is to help tourists understand and discover Naples, I thought  just I to create a portal, in english language, without these defects, and offer it to all of you, for free.

After abcnapoli.com, the little guide in Naples Italian, my new project is:

I looked at the Trip Advisor forums before going to Naples last week and from reading some of the comments on here I thought I had made a dreadful mistake in going there at all. I loved it !!! Napoli is a wonderful vibrant living city, It is not chocolate box pretty, nor a theme park but the sense of history is palpable. Beautiful churches everywhere, Visit the Sansevero chapel and gaze at the most fascinating, poignant and beautiful sculpture I have ever seen “the Veiled Christ by Giuseppe Sanmartino” Walk through the lovely friendly streets nearby. Visit the Archeological museum, the oldest in Europe and marvel at the mosaics and frescos recovered from Pompeii which are over 2000 years old and look as if they were created yesterday. Don’t miss visiting Pompeii itself and you will come away with the firm belief that we have invented absolutely nothing within the past two millenia apart from electricity and motorised transportation. Ischia is beautiful and well worth a visit. Take a walk along the promenade in the evening I felt perfectly comfortable strolling along it well after midnight on my way back to my hotel. The food is superb, prices are reasonable particularly when compared to Rome. I suppose to be perfectly objective about this there are a couple of observations that do need to be made. The area around the central station Piazza Garibaldi feels seedy even during daytime and I was also advised to avoid the Spanish quarter. The ongoing refuse collection issue is a little off putting and when we were there last week the aforementioned Piazza Garibaldi area was a disgrace with rubbbish piled high everywhere but it wasn’t quite so obvious in the Chiaia district where we stayed. Don’t be put off visiting Naples its a marvellous city and I will certainly be back.

Obviously I cannot start deal with the most burning issue, the rubbish problem.

Ok, we have got a problem: the collection of rubbish in our region is not effected, for this reason landfill in campania are full, and it’s a problem where to dispose the waste.

However At this moment, as from 1 month until today, rubbish are regularly collected and shipped via train in germany. This is the truth of the facts.

Dear tourist:

- If you ‘re coming to naples by plane or train or ship you ‘ll not find rubbish around you!!

- Naples’ air is not polluted, rubbish are not burned in the open air.

There are 750 thousand Neapolitans who waiting for you in their cities with their cordiality; thousands of hotels, inns and restaurants with the lowest prices, ever ready to offer the best quality and courtesy.

Then dear friends, be careful in the wrong warning, if you read the pages of my blog i’ll always tell you the truth, don’t worry about this, I’ll be your trusted friend of place that always tells you about things as they are.
